BPSSC ASI Technical Exam Pattern & Instructions
The exam is a Preliminary Written Examination conducted in OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet format.
Exam duration: 2 hours (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM), single shift.
Candidates must reach the exam center by the reporting time of 8:30 AM; entry is allowed only until 9:30 AM, after which no candidate will be permitted inside under any circumstances.
Candidates must sit only at the seat corresponding to the name, photo, and roll number printed on the roll number sticker; failure to do so can lead to cancellation of candidature.
The specimen copy of instructions printed on the OMR answer sheet (covering entries like roll number, question booklet number, passage writing, and signature) is available on the official website. Candidates are strongly advised to review this before the exam, since incorrect OMR entries can lead to rejection of the answer sheet.
Candidates should preserve their admit card safely even after the exam, as it may be required again at later stages such as the Main Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and joining.
