Candidates must have:
🎓 Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
Final-year/semester graduation candidates can also apply provisionally, provided they obtain proof of passing their graduation examination by 31 December 2026.
Matriculate Ex-Servicemen meeting SBI's prescribed service and qualification conditions are also eligible.
Age will be calculated as on 1 April 2026.

Candidate must have been born between 2 April 1998 and 1 April 2006, inclusive.

There is a 1/4th negative marking for wrong answers.
Candidates can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT and must be proficient in the specified local language of that State/UT.
Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10 or 12 and can produce the relevant certificate/marksheet will generally not have to take the separate language test. Others who are provisionally selected must qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test before joining.
The SBI Junior Associate pay scale is:
₹24,050 – 1,340/3 – 28,070 – 1,650/3 – 33,020 – 2,000/4 – 41,020 – 2,340/7 – 57,400 – 4,400/1 – 61,800 – 2,680/1 – ₹64,480
For graduates, the starting Basic Pay is ₹26,730 after two advance increments.
The total starting emoluments at a metro such as Mumbai are approximately ₹46,000 per month, including applicable DA and other allowances. Actual emoluments vary according to the place of posting.
