State Bank of India (SBI) has released the Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) Recruitment 2026 notification for 38 Specialist Officer vacancies across Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, IT Security, Human Resources and Enterprise Technology Architecture.

The recruitment has been announced under three advertisements — CRPD/SCO/2026-27/11, CRPD/SCO/2026-27/12 and CRPD/SCO/2026-27/13. Eligible candidates can apply online from 07 August 2026 to 27 August 2026 through the official SBI Careers portal.

🎓 Educational Qualification & Experience

🔹 Deputy Vice President – Cyber Innovation & Simulation Lab

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in any discipline OR MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.

Experience:
Minimum 12 years' overall experience, including at least 6 years in Technology/Digital/Cyber Security Innovation, Innovation Labs, CoE or related areas.

🔹 Deputy Vice President – Citizen Centric Initiatives

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in any discipline OR MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in any discipline.

Preferred: Advanced qualification in Cyber Security/IT.

Experience:
Minimum 12 years in BFSI IT/Information Security/Cyber Security, including at least 6 years in Cyber Security/Cyber Security Awareness.

🔹 Deputy Vice President – Cyber Security

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in any discipline OR MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in any discipline.

Preferred: Advanced qualification in Cyber Security/IT.

Experience:
Minimum 12 years in BFSI IT/Information Security/Cyber Security, including at least 6 years in Cyber Research/Cyber Defence & Intelligence.

🔹 Deputy Manager – AI Specialist

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc in:

• Computer Science

• Data Science & AI

• Software Engineering

• Information Technology

• Electronics

• Equivalent relevant disciplines

Bachelor's degree candidates must have at least 50% marks.

Experience:
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification IT experience, including at least 2 years in areas such as:

• Machine Learning

• Deep Learning

• Generative AI

• RAG pipelines

🔹 Deputy Manager – IT Security Expert

Qualification:

🔹 Deputy Manager – Cyber Security Analyst

Qualification:
Relevant B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc qualification in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related discipline.

Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT.

👨‍💼 Manager Posts – HR

🔹 Manager – Manpower Planning & Recruitment

Qualification:
MBA/PGDM/PGDBM or equivalent qualification with specialization in:

• HR

• HRD

• HRM

The qualification must be from an AICTE/UGC/Government-recognized institution.

Experience:
Minimum 6 years' post-basic HR experience, preferably in the IT industry or IT vertical of BFSI.

🔹 Manager – Learning & Development

Qualification:
MBA/PGDM/PGDBM or equivalent with specialization in HR/HRD/HRM.

Experience:
Minimum 6 years' post-basic HR/Training experience, preferably in IT/BFSI.

🔹 Dy. Chief Technology Officer – Enterprise Architecture

Qualification:

• Engineering Graduate OR MCA

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech preferred in Software Engineering/CSE/IT/Computer Technology/Electronics

• TOGAF Certification is compulsory

Experience:
Minimum 18 years' overall IT experience in regulated financial services/BFSI product organizations, including:

🎂 SBI SCO Age Limit 2026

The age is calculated as on 31 July 2026.

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Government of India/SBI rules. For Advertisement No. 11, the reported upper-age relaxation includes 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST and applicable PwBD relaxation.

💰 SBI SCO Salary / CTC 2026

🔹 Deputy Manager

Basic Pay: ₹64,820 – ₹93,960

The CTC structure is 90% fixed + 10% variable.

Annual CTC: Up to ₹1.70 crore

Contract period: 3 years, extendable by up to 2 additional years.

🔹 Vice President

Annual CTC: Up to ₹96 lakh

Contract period: 3 years, extendable by up to 2 additional years.

For contractual positions, CTC is negotiable depending on the candidate's experience and current remuneration.

The SBI SCO Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of:

1️⃣ Shortlisting

The Bank will shortlist candidates based on the prescribed qualification, experience and other parameters.

2️⃣ Interview

Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview carrying 100 marks.

3️⃣ CTC Negotiation

For contractual posts — DVP, Dy. Chief Technology Officer and Vice President — CTC negotiation will also be conducted.

4️⃣ Final Merit List

The merit list will be prepared based on interview performance and applicable selection criteria.
