UKSSSC Recruitment 2026: 398 Kanisth Sahayak & Stenographer Grade-1/PA Vacancies

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released a fresh recruitment notification on 15 June 2026 to fill 398 vacancies of Kanisth Sahayak (Junior Assistant) and Stenographer Grade-1/Personal Assistant in the Civil Courts and Family Courts functioning under the Nainital High Court, Uttarakhand. Eligible candidates can apply online at www.sssc.uk.gov.in between 22 June 2026 and 6 July 2026. Kanisth Sahayak Vacancy Breakup (259 Posts)

A combined total of 259 Kanisth Sahayak posts are on offer, with 230 posts in Civil Courts and 29 posts in Family Courts across the 13 districts of Uttarakhand.

Stenographer Grade-1/PA Vacancy Breakup (139 Posts)

A combined total of 139 Stenographer Grade-1/Personal Assistant posts are available, comprising 128 posts in Civil Courts and 11 posts in Family Courts.

Educational Qualification for UKSSSC 2026 Posts

Eligibility requirements differ slightly for the two posts, mainly in typing and shorthand speed criteria. Both posts require a graduation degree along with computer and language proficiency.

Eligibility for Kanisth Sahayak (Junior Assistant)

• Graduate degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

• Good knowledge of Hindi and English languages.

• Good knowledge of Hindi typing with a minimum speed of 25 words per minute on computer. Preference will be given to candidates who can also type in English at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer.

• Adequate knowledge of computer operation.

Eligibility for Stenographer Grade-1/Personal Assistant

• Graduate degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

• Good knowledge of Hindi and English languages.

• Minimum 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and minimum 25 words per minute in Hindi typing on computer. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 80 words per minute in English shorthand and a minimum of 35 words per minute in English typing on computer.

• Good knowledge of computer operation.

Keep the following documents ready in scanned format before starting the application, as uploading them is mandatory at the application stage itself.

• High School certificate (for verification of name and date of birth)

• Scanned copy of both sides of Aadhaar card

• Category/sub-category certificate for vertical reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable

• Certificate for horizontal reservation category (women, ex-servicemen, disability, freedom fighter dependent, orphan, sportsperson, andolankari), if applicable

• Recent scanned colour passport-size photograph (150W x 200H px)

• Scanned signature (150W x 100H px)

• Scanned image of left thumb impression (150W x 100H px)

How to Apply Online for UKSSSC Recruitment 2026

Interested and eligible candidates can complete the Apply Online process on the official UKSSSC website in five simple steps between 22 June 2026 and 6 July 2026.

1. Registration & Personal Details – Register using a unique mobile number and email ID (each can be used only once) and fill in personal details.

2. Educational & Other Details – Enter educational qualification, category, district preference, and other required information.

3. Upload Photo, Signature & Thumb Impression – Upload the scanned photograph, signature, and left thumb impression as per the specified size.

4. Make Payment – Pay the applicable examination fee online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.

5. Print Application – Download and print a copy of the final submitted application for personal record; it does not need to be submitted to the Commission at this stage.
