Coal India Limited (CIL) has released the official Management Trainee (MT) Notification 2026 on 05.05.2026 at coalindia.in. A total of 660 vacancies have been announced under the CIL MT Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates aged up to 30 years for General/EWS category (with relaxations for reserved categories as per Govt. rules) and possessing a relevant full-time Engineering Degree / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA qualification can apply online from 12-05-2026 to 21-06-2026 (Extended). The last date to apply has been extended to 21 June 2026.

Coal India Limited MT Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of online submission of applications (11-06-2026). Admission to the Computer Based Online Test will be purely provisional. Engineering Degree/M.Tech/M.Sc./MCA must be of regular full-time course from a University/Institute recognized by the appropriate statutory authority in India. For calculating aggregate final marks, the aggregate marks of all years/semesters/trimesters would be taken. Rounding of percentage will not be acceptable; even 59.99% will not be treated as eligible. Final year/semester/trimester students of academic year 2025-26 who expect their results by 31.08.2026 are also eligible to apply.

Coal India Limited MT Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
The upper age limit is 30 years as on 30th April 2026 for General (UR) and EWS category candidates. Age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per Government of India guidelines. The upper age limit under any category shall not exceed 56 years as on 30-04-2026. There is no age bar for permanent employees of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries.

The Admit Card for CBT will be available for downloading through the individual login portal on the CIL website.
