Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Barrackpore Division has released Advertisement No. HR/TRG/2026/06/18 for the engagement of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the 2026–27 training session. The apprenticeship is for one year and is conducted through a Walk-In selection process. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is India's premier aerospace and defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is one of the country's largest aerospace manufacturers and is responsible for designing, developing, manufacturing, repairing, overhauling, and upgrading military aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, and aerospace systems.

🎓 Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Passed 10th/SSC/HSC (Full-Time).

• Passed ITI (NCVT/CTS) in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.

Eligible Passing Years

Only candidates who passed ITI in:

• ✅ 2021

• ✅ 2022

• ✅ 2023

• ✅ 2024

• ✅ 2025

are eligible. Candidates already undergoing or having completed apprenticeship training under NAPS elsewhere, or those with one year or more of work experience, are not eligible.

🎂 Age Limit (As on 24 July 2026)

Minimum Age: 18 Years.

💰 Application Fee

💵 Stipend

• Monthly stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the applicable rules. The notification does not specify a fixed amount.

📝 Selection Process

There is no written exam and no interview.

Selection is purely merit-based:

• 70% weightage: 10th (SSC) marks

• 30% weightage: ITI marks

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
